Job summary

Allied Universal, a leading security and facility services company, is seeking a full-time security officer in a manufacturing/industrial setting. The position offers night shifts and an hourly pay rate of $10.00, with responsibilities that include access control, patrols, incident response, and safety reporting.

Minimum requirements include being at least 18 years old for unarmed roles and a high school diploma.

• Customer service experience in security or customer-facing roles.
• Ability to observe and report hazards or security concerns.
• Perform access control procedures and verify credentials as required.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and/or vendors by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, access-control policies, and emergency response activities within a manufacturing and industrial location.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of production areas, warehouse spaces, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter areas to help identify unusual conditions and help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials as directed, maintain visitor and contractor logs, and report access-control concerns to site leadership and/or Allied Universal supervision.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, medical situations, and other critical events in a calm, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate personnel and document actions taken.
• Observe and report potential hazards, equipment damage, suspicious activity, and policy violations, completing accurate activity reports and incident documentation.

What You’ll Do:

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
