Job summary

Allied Universal is hiring for a full-time security officer in Ohio's manufacturing environment. You will provide customer service to employees, visitors, and vendors while enforcing site policies and responding to incidents.

The role requires patrolling the site, controlling access, and monitoring cameras and alarms. A valid driver's license may be required for driving positions; background checks and drug screening are part of employment.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities at a manufacturing and industrial location.
• Control access to the facility by verifying credentials, maintaining visitor and contractor logs, issuing access credentials as authorized, and monitoring entry and exit points.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, access-control concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate site contacts and emergency personnel as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of manufacturing areas, office spaces, parking areas, loading docks, and the facility perimeter to identify and report unusual conditions or security-related concerns.
• Monitor access-control systems, cameras, and related equipment; document daily activities, incidents, and observations in accordance with site-specific procedures.

What You'll Do

Minimum Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
