Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking part-time security personnel to provide customer service at a manufacturing and industrial site in Florida. You will perform unarmed patrols, monitor access points, verify credentials, and respond to incidents while following site-specific policies and emergency procedures.

Applicants must meet minimum age requirements, hold a high school diploma, and pass background checks and drug screening where allowed. A valid driver's license is required for driving roles.

• Background check will be conducted as per federal, state and local laws.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, vendors, and employees while following security procedures and site policies.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility and surrounding areas to identify hazards and report unusual activity.
• Monitor access points and verify visitor credentials per site procedures; maintain visitor/incident records.
• Respond calmly to incidents, alarms, and emergencies; notify appropriate contacts or responders.
• Deter unauthorized activity by maintaining a visible security presence and reporting concerns per procedures.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, vendors, and/or employees while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and appropriate emergency response activities at a manufacturing and industrial location.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, warehouse areas, loading docks, parking areas, and perimeter to help identify and report unusual activity, hazards, and/or unauthorized access.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as directed by site procedures, and maintain accurate visitor and incident documentation.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate site contacts and/or emergency responders as needed.
• Help to deter unauthorized activity by maintaining a visible presence, observing site operations, and reporting concerns according to Allied Universal and site-specific procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
