Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, tenants, shoppers, and visitors by following security procedures and site policies.
• Respond to incidents and document observed conditions per site guidelines.
• Conduct regular patrols of storefronts, common areas, exterior walkways, and parking areas to deter activity and report concerns.
• Monitor entrances and high-traffic areas for unusual activity and support a professional environment for the public and on-site personnel.
• Communicate with store representatives, property staff, and local responders regarding incidents, alarms, and medical calls.

As a Security Officer Mobile Patrol Driver Retail in Tustin, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. Join Allied Universal as a driving patrol officer in a retail and mall location, where you will conduct routine patrols, remain highly visible to help deter security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. What You’ll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, tenants, shoppers, and/or visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities throughout the retail location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and document observed conditions, activities, and/or policy concerns according to site guidelines.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout storefronts, common areas, exterior walkways, and parking areas to help to deter unwanted activity and report maintenance, lighting, and/or access concerns.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and high-traffic areas for unusual activity, assist with access-related questions, and support a professional environment for the public and on-site personnel.
• Communicate with store representatives, property staff, and/or local responders as needed regarding incidents, alarms, medical calls, and other security-related matters at the location.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• A guard card and/or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
