Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, shoppers, and clients by following security procedures and site policies.
• Respond to incidents and concerns calmly, notifying appropriate personnel or responders as needed.
• Conduct regular patrols of common areas, parking facilities, storefront perimeters, and other assigned areas.
• Observe and report suspicious activity, hazards, and policy violations; complete incident reports.
• Assist with access control, traffic, and directions for visitors while maintaining a professional presence.

As a Security Officer Retail Centers Full Time Patrol Driver in Tustin, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer at a retail and mall location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide welcoming customer service to visitors and tenants. This driving position offers the opportunity to support a caring, reliable team through clear communication, integrity, and responsive service.

Pay Rate: $21.00 / Hour

• Mon: 07:30 AM - 04:00 PM
• Tue: 07:30 AM - 04:00 PM
• Wed: 07:30 AM - 04:00 PM
• Thur: 07:30 AM - 04:00 PM
• Sun: 07:30 AM - 04:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, shoppers, and clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a retail center location.
• Respond to incidents, customer concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel and/or emergency responders as needed.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols throughout common areas, parking facilities, storefront perimeters, and other assigned areas to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Observe and report suspicious activity, hazards, property damage, and policy violations, completing accurate incident reports and daily activity documentation.
• Assist with access control, traffic and parking-related duties, and directions for visitors while maintaining a professional presence throughout the location.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
