Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and retail patrons by carrying out site-specific procedures and access-control practices.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations following site policies and escalation procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of retail common areas, parking areas, building entrances, and surrounding perimeter.
• Monitor access points and report suspicious activity, hazards, maintenance concerns, and policy violations to site contacts and leadership.
• Prepare clear, accurate activity and incident reports and maintain professional communication with clients and responding personnel.

As a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Building Patrol Driver in Newport Beach, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As an Unarmed Security Officer at a retail and mall location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. • Mon: 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM
• Tue: 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM
• Wed: 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM
• Sat: 07:00 AM - 03:00 PM
• Sun: 07:00 AM - 03:00 PM

What You’ll Do:

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and retail patrons by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-control practices, and security-related response activities.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established site policies and escalation procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of retail common areas, parking areas, building entrances, and the surrounding perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and report suspicious activity, hazards, maintenance concerns, and policy violations to appropriate site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
• Prepare clear, accurate activity and incident reports and maintain professional communication with clients, tenants, visitors, and responding public service personnel.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Preferred comfort using a computer or tablet.
• Preferred alarm panel experience.
• Preferred access control and badge experience.
• Preferred ability to lift up to 20 pounds.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
