Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures and site policies.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations calmly and following site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of interior/exterior areas to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and visitor/employee/contractor entry per site requirements, documenting activity.
• Observe and report irregular conditions, hazards, or policy violations to site contacts and leadership.

As a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed - Site Access in Elgin, SC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Food/Beverage, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer at a food and beverage location, you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, remain visible to help deter security-related incidents, and support access control and alarm response. You will deliver exceptional customer service and clear communication while using computer or tablet systems. Pay Rate: $15.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Wed 10:30 PM - 06:30 AM
• Thur 10:30 PM - 06:30 AM
• Fri 10:30 PM - 06:30 AM
• Sat 10:30 PM - 06:30 AM
• Sun 10:30 PM - 06:30 AM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities at a food and beverage production or distribution location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of interior areas, exterior grounds, parking areas, loading docks, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and visitor, employee, and contractor entry in accordance with site requirements, documenting relevant security-related activity.
• Observe and report irregular conditions, facility hazards, equipment concerns, and policy violations to appropriate site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.

Minimum Requirements:

• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
