Allied Universal in Franklin Park, IL is seeking a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed to serve clients across multiple industries. You will conduct patrols, monitor access points, and provide professional customer service to employees and visitors.

This role requires 18+ years, a high school diploma or equivalent, and the ability to pass background checks and drug screenings. The schedule includes Thursday through Sunday nights and afternoons at a food and beverage facility with competitive pay

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established site protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility, including production areas, warehouse spaces, and perimeter to identify unusual activity or conditions.
• Monitor access points, verify visitor and contractor authorization, and maintain entry, delivery, and incident documentation.
• Report observed hazards, maintenance concerns, policy violations, and security-related incidents to site leadership and Allied Universal management.

Job Description

As a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed in Franklin Park, IL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Food/Beverage, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a food and beverage location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide exceptional customer service. You will communicate professionally with employees and visitors, report observations, and support a welcoming environment. Pay Rate: $18.73 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Thur 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM
• Fri 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM
• Sat 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM
• Sun 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.

• Report observed hazards, maintenance concerns, policy violations, and security-related incidents to site leadership and Allied Universal management.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
