Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer (Unarmed) in Summerville, SC for a full-time role. You will protect client facilities, greet visitors, and patrol assigned areas while delivering professional service.

In this position you will perform routine patrols, monitor access points, log activities, and respond to alarms or incidents with calm, clear communication as part of Allied Universal’s people-first culture and commitment to safety.

Qualifications

• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Must be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background checks required by law; drug screen may be required.
• Licensing requirements may be required prior to employment.
• Driver’s license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors and delivery personnel while following site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of warehouse areas and facility perimeter to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access; verify visitor and contractor credentials and logs.
• Respond to incidents, alarms and emergencies calmly and notify site contacts or emergency services as directed.
• Observe and report unusual conditions, damaged property, or policy violations per site procedures.

As a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed in Summerville, SC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a dynamic logistics and distribution location, you will conduct routine patrols, monitor access points, help to deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment for employees and visitors. Pay Rate: $17.50 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Mon 10:30 PM - 06:30 AM
• Tue 10:30 PM - 06:30 AM
• Wed 10:30 PM - 06:30 AM
• Thur 10:30 PM - 06:30 AM
• Sun 10:30 PM - 06:30 AM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and delivery personnel while carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of warehouse areas, loading docks, trailer yards, access points, parking areas, and the facility perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access to the distribution location, verify visitor and contractor credentials, and maintain accurate logs for arrivals, departures, and deliveries.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate site contacts and/or emergency services as directed.
• Observe and report unusual conditions, damaged property, access-control concerns, and policy violations in accordance with Allied Universal and site procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
