Allied Universal in Fountain Inn, SC is seeking a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Access Control to protect facilities and people in a manufacturing and industrial setting. You will monitor access, perform patrols, and provide courteous service to employees and visitors.

Qualifications

• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Pepper spray certification is preferred.
• Guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check and drug screen as required by law.
• Driver's license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities in a manufacturing and industrial environment.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established reporting and escalation procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of production areas, warehouses, offices, parking areas, loading docks, and the facility perimeter to help identify and report unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points, verify visitor and contractor entry requirements, and maintain accurate logs, reports, and incident documentation.
• Assist with maintaining an orderly work environment by observing site rules, reporting hazards or maintenance concerns, and communicating professionally with site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.

Minimum Requirements:

• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Pepper spray certification is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
