Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer for Alarm Access in Elgin, SC. Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees at a production location by following security procedures and site policies.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, production areas, parking areas, access points, and perimeter.
• Monitor access to the location, verify visitor and contractor authorization, and report discrepancies.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations calmly and document actions taken.
• Complete accurate daily activity reports and patrol documentation, communicating relevant security information to site contacts and leadership.

Security Officer Full Time - Alarm Access in Elgin, SC

you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Food/Beverage, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a food and beverage location, you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, help deter security-related incidents, support access control, and respond to alarm-related activity. You will provide exceptional customer service and clear communication while using technology to document observations. Position Type: Full Time

Pay Rate: $15.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Mon 10:30 PM - 06:30 AM
• Tue 10:30 PM - 06:30 AM
• Fri 02:30 PM - 10:30 PM
• Sat 02:30 PM - 10:30 PM
• Sun 02:30 PM - 10:30 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees at a food and beverage production location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, production areas, parking areas, access points, and perimeter to help identify unusual activity, unauthorized access, and potential security-related concerns.
• Monitor access to the location, verify visitor and contractor authorization in accordance with site procedures, and report discrepancies to appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site protocols and documenting observations and actions taken.
• Complete accurate daily activity reports, incident reports, and patrol documentation while communicating relevant security-related information to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.

Minimum Requirements:

• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
