Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees at a financial institution by carrying out security procedures and site policies.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of banking areas, offices, parking areas, entrances and perimeter to deter unauthorized access.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity; report suspicious conditions or violations per site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; document observations.
• Maintain a professional presence and welcoming environment during daily banking operations.

A Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Alarm Panel Monitor in Winston Salem, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer at a financial institution, you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents. You will support access control, respond to alarm-related activity, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees at a financial institution by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of banking areas, offices, parking areas, entrances, and the surrounding perimeter to help identify unusual activity and help deter unauthorized access.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, follow site procedures for entry and exit, and report suspicious conditions or policy violations to appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and actions according to site procedures.
• Maintain a professional presence while supporting a welcoming environment for customers and staff during daily banking operations.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 2 years of security-related experience is required.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Possession of a guard card or license is preferred.
• Experience with access control and badge systems is preferred.
• Experience with alarm panels is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
