Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Alarm Response Driver in Winston-Salem, NC. The role offers fixed shifts with an anchor schedule and optional extra shifts to boost earnings across multiple sites.

Responsibilities include providing customer service at a financial institution, handling incidents and alarms, patrolling banking areas, monitoring access points, and maintaining logs. A valid driver’s license and security experience are required.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of security-related experience.
• A valid driver’s license is required where the job is located.
• A state, county, or city-issued security license is preferred.
• X-ray screening and alarm panel experience are preferred.
• Be at least 21 years old with a high school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, customers, and visitors at a financial institution by carrying out site-specific security procedures and emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of banking areas, entrances, parking areas, ATMs, and the surrounding perimeter.
• Monitor access points and observe visitor and contractor activity, reporting unusual conditions and maintaining logs.
• Support a professional environment by giving directions and communicating clearly with site personnel and emergency responders.

As a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Alarm Response Driver in Winston Salem, NC, this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking-up additional shifts when it works for you.

Pay Rate: $23.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Thur: 12:00 AM - 08:00 AM

How This Role Works:

• Fixed-Shift Commitment (“Anchor Shifts”): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick-up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part-time hours this week and full-time the next. It’s all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part-time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build-up to a full-time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of banking areas, entrances, parking areas, ATMs, and the surrounding perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and observe visitor and contractor activity, reporting unusual conditions and maintaining required logs and documentation.
• Support a professional environment by providing directions, answering questions, and communicating clearly with site personnel and emergency responders.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess at least 2 years of security-related experience.
• A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
• A state, county, or city-issued security license is preferred.
• X-ray screening experience is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
