Allied Universal is hiring a Security Officer (Full Time, Unarmed) for a patrol circuit in Charlotte, NC. You will monitor a financial institution, handle access control, respond to alarms, and maintain a professional presence.

Qualifications

• At least one year of security-related experience is required.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, a background investigation will be conducted.
• A drug screen will be required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may be required before employment.
• A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or vendors at a financial services location by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-control practices, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established reporting and escalation procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the business interior, exterior, parking areas, and perimeter to report suspicious activity, hazards, and policy concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify authorization as directed by site procedures, and maintain accurate logs and incident documentation.
• Communicate professionally with site personnel, visitors, and responding public service agencies.

What You’ll Do:
