Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Armed Patrol Specialist in Raleigh, NC to safeguard clients across financial institutions and other sites. The role involves conducting armed patrols, maintaining a visible presence, and delivering excellent customer service in a dynamic environment.

Expect to respond to alarms and incidents, document patrol activities, and comply with site policies. Position is full-time with night shifts and a starting pay rate of $20.60 per hour, with benefits

Qualifications

• Provide customer service to clients, members, visitors and employees while carrying out site-specific security-related procedures.
• Respond to alarms, incidents, and critical situations in a calm, professional manner and communicate observations.
• Conduct regular armed patrols of the financial institution location, including interior/exterior areas and perimeter.
• Monitor access points and deter unauthorized access and policy violations.
• Prepare accurate reports of incidents and patrol activities per site requirements.

• Fri: 08:30 PM - 06:00 AM
• Sat: 08:30 PM - 06:00 AM
• Sun: 08:30 PM - 06:00 AM

What You'll Do:

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess at least two years of law enforcement, military police, or corrections experience.
• Possess an armed guard card or license.
• Pepper spray certification is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
