Allied Universal, North America\u2019s leading security and facility services company, invites you to join as a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Unarmed Alarm Panel Monitoring in Winston-Salem, NC. This role offers reliable hours with the potential to pick up extra shifts and earn more, paying $24.00 per hour.

You will be assigned a fixed shift, with a six-month commitment, and can participate in the Earn More, Claim-A-Shift program to increase earnings.

Qualifications

• At least two years of security-related experience.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide security and customer service at a financial institution per site policies and emergency procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations calmly and follow site protocols.
• Conduct routine unarmed patrols of banking areas and entrances to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and report suspicious conditions or maintenance needs to appropriate personnel.
• Document daily activities, patrols, incidents, and observations per reporting requirements.

As a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Unarmed Alarm Panel Monitoring in Winston Salem, NC, this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking‑up additional shifts when it works for you.

Pay Rate: $24.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Sat 04:00 PM - 12:00 AM

How This Role Works:

• Fixed-Shift Commitment (“Anchor Shifts”): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick‑up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part‑time hours this week and full‑time the next. It’s all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part‑time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build‑up to a full‑time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees at a financial institution by carrying out security‑related procedures, site‑specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem‑solving manner, following established site protocols.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of banking areas, entrances, parking areas, and the surrounding perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and observe activity throughout the location, reporting suspicious conditions, maintenance concerns, and policy violations to appropriate personnel.
• Document daily activities, patrols, incidents, and observations in accordance with Allied Universal and site‑specific reporting requirements.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least two years of security‑related experience is required.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
