**Work hours:** Full-Time, Rotating Shifts

**Here’s What You Need**

• H.S. Diploma or equivalent required
• Associate's Degree in Business Administration, Criminal Justice, Law Enforcement, Security or closely related field preferred
• 2 years security or law enforcement experience preferred
• 2 years healthcare or education experience preferred
• Driver’s License Class C and Insurable required
• CSO - Commissioned Security Officer Texas Private Security Level 2 within 14 days of hire
• CSO - Commissioned Security Officer Texas Level 3 within 60 days of hire
• TASER Certification within 60 days of hire (two attempts permitted) and annual recertification
• CPI - Crisis Prevention Intervention Training upon hire
• ACPI - Advanced Crisis Prevention Intervention Training within 6 months of hire or CPI within 30 days and ACPI within 12 months
• Must successfully complete a psychological evaluation

**What You Will Do**

• Patrol buildings and grounds for unlocked secured areas after hours.
• Provide individual and group escorts to and from parking areas.
• Identify and remove unauthorized individuals from property.
• Enforce campus parking policies and cite violations.
• Maintain compliance with Security policies.
• Pursue and detain persons involved in criminal activity.
• Fill out incident/offense reports and compose narratives.
• Provide directions within the facility.
• Interact with police, fire personnel, patients, visitors, and staff.
• Provide vehicle assistance.
• Aid Police, Fire, EMS, and emergency staff as required.
