Job Summary

Responsible for distributing work assignments to security officers and overseeing all aspects of provisioning and access control management for all individuals, including employees, visitors, contractors, and vendors accessing client facilities. Ensures proper authorization and secure entry into buildings.

Job Duties
  • Oversees daily operations at sites in the absence of a supervisor.
  • Assigns activities to security officers and ensures completion of tasks.
  • Manages access control, including inspection of identifications, vehicle decals, and escorting employees. Screens visitors, couriers, and contractors before entry.
  • Patrols premises, responds to security-related inquiries, and documents concerns from tenants, employees, and the public.
  • Prepares clear and concise reports on security incidents and daily activities.
  • Reports security incidents and documents criminal or suspicious activities, notifying management of incidents and emergencies.
  • Responds to building emergency alarms, including fire, elevator entrapments, and intercom alerts.
  • Manages communication via radios and other security-related equipment.
  • Performs additional duties as assigned, aligned with the skills and experience required for this role.
Qualifications
  • High School diploma, GED, or equivalent.
  • Minimum 2+ years of relevant experience (supervisory experience preferred).
  • Must be at least 18 years old.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Strong work ethic.
  • Ability to work independently without direct supervision.
  • Must obtain credentials as required by airport, state, or customs requirements.
  • Knowledge of security principles and practices preferred.
Physical Requirements
  • Frequently lift more than 70 lbs and constantly lift up to 70 lbs. Push, pull up to 70 lbs. Walk, stand for long periods, reach above shoulder, climb, crawl, stoop, squat, kneel, and bend.
Working Conditions
  • Must be able to work rotating shifts, nights, weekends, holidays, and overtime.
  • Open to working in outside weather conditions, including severe seasonal elements.
