Position Highlights:

• Work location: Texas Health Southwest - 6100 Harris Parkway, Fort Worth, TX 76132
• Work hours: Full-time; rotating shifts

Department Highlights:

• Security provides services 24/7 including vehicle escorts, patrols in building and parking areas, response to service calls.

Education:

• H.S. Diploma or Equivalent required.
• Associate degree in Business Administration, Criminal Justice, Law Enforcement, Security, or related field preferred.

Experience:

• 2 Years security or law enforcement preferred.
• 2 Years healthcare or education preferred.

Licenses and Certifications:

• Driver’s License Class C and insurable required upon hire.
• CSO - Commissioned Security Officer Texas Private Security Level 2 (or Level 3) required within 14 days of hire.
• CSO - Commissioned Security Officer Texas Private Security Level 3 (2 attempts permitted). Biannual recertification. Required after 60 Days of hire.
• TASER Certification - Complete Course & Certification (2 attempts permitted). Annual recertification. Required after 60 Days of hire.
• ACPI - Advanced Crisis Prevention Intervention Training maintained annually, 30 Days Required.

What You Will Do:

• Patrol buildings and grounds for after-hour entry, unlock/lock doors, provide escorts, identify unauthorized individuals, enforce parking policies, and respond to security incidents.
• Maintain compliance with security policies, pursue and detain suspects, complete incident reports, and interact with emergency personnel and the public.
• Provide excellent customer service, give directions, assist visitors, and respond to emergencies using appropriate de-escalation and force techniques.
• Report and escalate situations as needed, and support emergency response efforts.
