Job Summary:

This role involves distributing work assignments to security officers, overseeing all aspects of provisioning and access control management for all individuals including employees, visitors, contractors, and vendors—ensuring proper authorization and secure entry into buildings.

Job Duties:

• Oversees daily operations at sites in the absence of a supervisor.
• Assigns activities to security officers and ensures task completion.
• Manages access control, including identification verification, vehicle decals, and escorting employees, screening visitors, couriers, and contractors before entry.
• Patrols premises, responds to security inquiries, and documents concerns from tenants, employees, and the public.
• Prepares clear and concise reports on security incidents and daily activities.
• Reports security incidents and documents criminal or suspicious activities, notifying management accordingly.
• Responds to building emergency alarms, including fire, elevator entrapments, and intercom alerts.
• Communicates via radios and other security equipment.
• Performs additional duties as assigned, aligned with skills and experience.

Qualifications:

• High School diploma, GED, or equivalent.
• Minimum 2+ years of relevant experience (supervisory experience preferred).
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Strong work ethic.
• Ability to work independently without direct supervision.
• Must obtain necessary credentials as per airport, state, or customs requirements.
• Knowledge of security principles and practices is preferred.

Physical Requirements:

• Frequently lift over 70 lbs and constantly lift up to 70 lbs; push, pull, walk, stand for long periods, reach above shoulder, climb, crawl, stoop, squat, kneel, and bend.

Working Conditions:

• Must be able to work rotating shifts, including nights, weekends, holidays, and overtime.
• Open to working outdoors in various weather conditions, including severe seasonal elements.
