Job Description

As a Security Officer Full Time Patrol Driver in Olive Branch, MS, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a dynamic technology location, you will conduct routine patrols, monitor access points, help to deter incidents, and provide outstanding customer service. This driving position requires a valid driver’s license. Using clear communication and technology tools, you will support a welcoming environment while reflecting Allied Universal’s agile, reliable, innovative, caring, teamwork-focused, and integrity-driven values.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and vendors at a technology, media, and telecommunications location by carrying out site‑specific procedures and security‑related policies.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of interior spaces, exterior grounds, parking areas, access points, and perimeter areas to help identify and report unusual conditions.
• Monitor access control points, visitor activity, and authorized entry procedures; report unauthorized access attempts and other security‑related concerns in accordance with site protocols.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, following emergency response procedures and contacting appropriate personnel as needed.
• Prepare clear, accurate reports and daily activity logs documenting patrols, incidents, observations, and interactions with employees, visitors, and vendors.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
