Qualifications

• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation.
• A drug screen may be required.
• Licensing requirements may apply per state/local laws.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors at a technology, media, and telecommunications location by carrying out security-related procedures and policies.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of interior spaces, exterior grounds, access points, parking areas, and the business perimeter to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access to the location, verify credentials as directed, and assist with visitor management and entry protocols.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations calmly and professionally; report observations and request support as needed.
• Document patrols and incidents accurately and report maintenance concerns per site procedures.

This driving post requires a valid driver’s license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. You will provide exceptional customer service and clear communication while supporting a caring, reliable team that acts with integrity.

Pay Rate: $16.50 / Hour

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or contractors at a technology, media, and telecommunications location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of interior spaces, exterior grounds, access points, parking areas, and the business perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access to the location, verify credentials as directed by site procedures, and assist with visitor management and entry protocols.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner; communicate observations and request appropriate support when needed.
• Document patrols, incidents, and security-related observations accurately in accordance with site procedures, and report maintenance or access-control concerns to designated personnel.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
