Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, access-control concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating matters according to site-specific procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the technology facility, including exterior perimeters, entry points, parking areas, and common areas, to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as directed, and maintain accurate activity logs and incident reports.
• Assist with maintaining an orderly environment for employees, contractors, and visitors while communicating professionally with site personnel and emergency responders.

As a Driving Unarmed Security Officer at a dynamic technology, media, and telecommunications location, you will conduct routine vehicle and foot patrols, monitor assigned areas, and maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents. You will support access control activities, communicate professionally with employees and visitors, and use technology to document observations. Pay Rate: $16.50 / Hour

What You'll Do:

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
