Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and vendors while carrying out security procedures and policies.
• Respond to incidents and access concerns calmly, following reporting and escalation procedures.
• Conduct regular unarmed patrols of the facility, exterior perimeter, parking areas, and common spaces.
• Monitor access points and verify credentials to maintain orderly entry and exit procedures.
• Complete accurate activity logs and incident reports, and communicate observations to leadership.

Job Description

As a Security Guard Patrol Driving Coverage in Olive Branch, MS, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As a Patrol Officer at a dynamic technology, media, and telecommunications location, you will conduct routine vehicle and foot patrols, monitor access points, and help to deter security-related incidents through a visible presence. This driving post requires a valid driver's license in accordance with Allied Universal Driver Policy requirements. You will provide outstanding customer service, communicate professionally, and support a caring, agile, reliable, innovative team that acts with integrity.

Position Type: Full Time

Pay Rate: $16.50 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Mon: 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM
• Thur: 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM
• Sat: 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM
• Sun: 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM

What You’ll Do:

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and vendors at a technology, media, and telecommunications location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established reporting and escalation procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, exterior perimeter, parking areas, and common spaces to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as directed, and assist with maintaining orderly entry and exit procedures.
• Complete accurate activity logs, incident reports, and shift documentation, and communicate relevant observations to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
