Allied Universal in Olive Branch, MS is seeking a Security Officer Full Time Driver Patrol. You will perform patrols, monitor access, verify credentials, and provide outstanding customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and vendors at a technology, media, and telecommunications location.

This role requires a valid driver’s license and the ability to drive as part of the patrol, with shifts in the afternoon schedule.

Qualifications

• Requires a valid driver’s license and ability to operate a computer or tablet.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control/badge experience is preferred.
• Must be at least 18 for unarmed roles and 21+ for armed roles.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and vendors at a technology, media, and telecommunications location.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of interior spaces, exterior grounds, access points, parking areas, and perimeter areas.
• Monitor access to the location, verify credentials, and maintain visitor and contractor records.
• Respond to incidents calmly and escalate to appropriate contacts or emergency services.
• Complete accurate activity reports and shift communications as required.

Job Description

As a Security Officer Full Time Driver Patrol Reporting in Olive Branch, MS, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer at a dynamic technology, media, and telecommunications location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, support access control, and provide outstanding customer service. This driving position requires a valid driver's license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and/or vendors at a technology, media, and telecommunications location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of interior spaces, exterior grounds, access points, parking areas, and perimeter areas to help identify and report unusual conditions or security-related concerns.
• Monitor access to the location, verify credentials as required by site procedures, and maintain visitor and contractor entry records.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns to the appropriate contacts and/or emergency services when needed.
• Complete accurate activity reports, incident documentation, and shift communications in accordance with Allied Universal and site-specific requirements.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control/badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
