As a Security Officer Part Time Access Control in Olive Branch, MS, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer supporting a dynamic technology, media, and telecommunications location. You will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, support access control activities, and deliver outstanding customer service. This driving position requires a valid driver’s license. Bring your professionalism, communication skills, and integrity to a team that is agile, reliable, innovative, and people-focused.

Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $16.50 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Thur: 02:00 PM – 10:00 PM
• Sun: 06:00 PM – 06:00 AM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, employees, visitors, and vendors at a technology-focused location by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of interior spaces, exterior areas, entry points, parking areas, and the business perimeter to help identify and report unusual conditions or unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and support visitor, vendor, and delivery procedures in accordance with site requirements.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established escalation and reporting protocols.
• Document patrols, incidents, observations, and security-related activities accurately and communicate relevant information to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet preferred.
• Customer service experience preferred.
• Access control and badge experience preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
