As a Security Officer Full Time Dispatch Communications in Newark, DE, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. As a Dispatch Professional with Allied Universal at a financial institution location, you will monitor alarm and communication systems, coordinate responses to security-related incidents, and maintain clear, timely documentation. You will support site operations through professional communication, customer service, and teamwork while helping to deter incidents. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and vendors at a financial institution by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Receive, prioritize, and dispatch routine and urgent calls for service to appropriate personnel, maintaining clear communication through radio, telephone, and electronic systems.
• Monitor alarms, access control activity, cameras, and other security-related systems; document events and notify appropriate contacts according to site procedures.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, coordinating communication with site contacts and emergency responders as directed.
• Maintain accurate dispatch logs, incident reports, and shift activity records, and assist with regular and random patrol coordination around the business and perimeter.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least three years of combined law enforcement, military, and/or security-related experience, or possess a college degree.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Possession of a guard card or license is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
