Job summary

Allied Universal is hiring a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Dispatch Operations in Bear, DE. You will provide security and customer service at an assigned site, dispatch calls, and monitor communications while maintaining accurate incident records.

The role offers fixed shifts with optional extra shifts via a scheduling platform, aiming for up to 40 hours weekly. Prior guard/Access control experience and CPR/First Aid are preferred.

Qualifications

• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification are preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, employees, and visitors by carrying out site‑specific security‑related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Receive, prioritize, and dispatch security‑related calls, alarms, service requests, and incident notifications to appropriate personnel in a timely manner.
• Monitor communications systems, document calls and dispatch activity, and maintain accurate records of incidents and follow‑up actions.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, coordinating with on‑site personnel and emergency responders when needed.
• Support security‑related operations at a financial institution location by communicating relevant information to staff and helping to maintain awareness of developing situations.

As a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Dispatch Operations in Bear, DE, this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking‑up additional shifts when it works for you.

Pay Rate: $19.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:
DayTimeFri11:00 PM – 11:00 AMSat11:00 PM – 11:00 AM

How This Role Works:

• Fixed-Shift Commitment ("Anchor Shifts"): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick‑up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part‑time hours this week and full‑time the next. It’s all up to you.
