Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking security professionals in Texas to provide customer service at client sites while enforcing access-control procedures and responding to incidents. You will monitor entry points, verify credentials, and maintain visitor records while performing routine patrols to deter unauthorized activity.

This full-time role requires a high school diploma and the ability to pass background checks and drug screens.

• Conduct regular and random patrols of the facility, perimeter, and access points to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.

Mon 06:00 AM - 06:00 PM, Tue 06:00 AM - 06:00 PM, Wed 06:00 AM - 06:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and contractors by carrying out site-specific access-control procedures, policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and authorization, maintain visitor and contractor access records, and report access discrepancies through established procedures.
• Operate access-control systems, issue and retrieve badges or credentials as authorized, and support controlled access to restricted operational areas.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site protocols and notifying appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of the facility, perimeter, and access points to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess a TSA-issued TWIC.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• A state, county, or city-issued security-related license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
