Position Type: Part Time; Pay Rate: $20.50 / Hour; Job Schedule: Fri 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM; Sat 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM; Sun 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, contractors, and employees by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, access-control policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Monitor and control access to manufacturing and industrial facilities by verifying credentials, maintaining visitor and contractor logs, issuing passes, and directing authorized individuals to designated areas.
• Operate access-control systems, cameras, alarms, and related equipment; report equipment concerns and unusual activity according to site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, access-control issues, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; document observations and notify appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of entry points, production-adjacent areas, parking areas, and the facility perimeter to help deter unauthorized access and identify potential concerns.
