Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Background investigation will be conducted as per federal, state and local laws.
• A drug screen is required where permitted by law.

• Must be able to use a computer or tablet for access-control procedures.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and drivers at a manufacturing and industrial location while carrying out access-control procedures and security policies.
• Verify credentials, maintain visitor and contractor logs, issue access badges or passes, and direct authorized individuals to appropriate areas.
• Observe entry and exit points, delivery traffic, and restricted areas; report unauthorized access attempts and security concerns.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations with calm, problem-solving actions following emergency protocols.
• Conduct regular patrols of access points, parking areas, and perimeter locations; document observations and complete activity reports.

Pay Rate: $16.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Mon: 05:30 AM - 06:30 PM
• Tue: 05:30 AM - 06:30 PM
• Wed: 05:30 AM - 06:30 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and drivers at a manufacturing and industrial location while carrying out site-specific access-control procedures and security-related policies.
• Monitor and control access to the facility by verifying credentials, maintaining visitor and contractor logs, issuing access badges or passes, and directing authorized individuals to appropriate areas.
• Observe entry and exit points, delivery traffic, and restricted areas; report unauthorized access attempts, suspicious activity, and security-related concerns according to site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following emergency response protocols and communicating with appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, parking areas, perimeter locations, and designated facility areas; document observations and complete required activity reports.

Minimum Requirements:

• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
