Job summary

Allied Universal in Lincoln, NE is seeking a security professional to help protect patients, staff and visitors. This full-time role involves patrolling facilities, monitoring entrances and responding to incidents with calm, professional judgment.

You will work weekday evenings with a fixed schedule, receive training and eligibility for benefits, and have access to Allied Universal tools to manage shifts. A high school diploma and background check are required; a valid driver's license is

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and contractors by following site policies and emergency procedures.
• Respond to incidents and medical or behavioral health concerns calmly and professionally.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of healthcare facilities, parking areas, entrances, and perimeters.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity; report unusual conditions to site leadership.
• Prepare accurate incident reports and maintain clear communication with dispatch and leadership.

Pay Rate: $22.36 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Mon 01:00 PM - 11:00 PM
• Fri 01:00 PM - 11:00 PM
• Sat 01:00 PM - 11:00 PM
• Sun 01:00 PM - 11:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and/or contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, behavioral health concerns, and other critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following facility protocols and notifying appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of healthcare facilities, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, assist with directions and escorts as requested, and report unusual conditions or policy violations to site leadership.
• Prepare accurate incident reports and maintain clear communication with dispatch, facility staff, and Allied Universal leadership.

Minimum Requirements:

• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
