Allied Universal is hiring for a full-time security position in Gretna, Nebraska. The role involves providing customer service to employees, visitors, drivers and contractors, while enforcing site-specific policies and emergency procedures.

Qualifications

• Mon: 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM
• Thur: 07:00 AM - 03:00 PM
• Fri: 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM
• Sat: 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM
• Sun: 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, drivers, and contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Monitor access points and verify authorization for personnel, visitors, vehicles, and deliveries entering and departing the logistics and distribution location.
• Maintain accurate access‑control records, issue and retrieve visitor credentials and/or keys as directed, and communicate access concerns to site leadership.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, following established site procedures and notifying appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, loading areas, parking areas, and the business perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security‑related concerns.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
