Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a security professional for a full-time night-shift position at a manufacturing site in Wilmer, TX. You will manage access control, monitor entry points, and coordinate with emergency responders to maintain a safe environment for employees and visitors.

The role emphasizes customer service and reliability; CPR/First Aid is preferred, and a high school diploma is required. The offered hourly rate is $19.54 and there are opportunities for training and career growth

Qualifications

• Possess at least 6 months of security-related experience.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• CPR/First Aid certification is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel by carrying out site‑specific access control procedures, policies, and emergency response activities at a manufacturing and industrial location.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify identification and authorization credentials, issue visitor and contractor access documentation, and maintain accurate access‑related records.
• Operate access control systems, cameras, alarms, and communications equipment; report unusual activity, access concerns, and equipment issues according to site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, coordinating with site contacts and emergency responders as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned entry points, production‑area access routes, parking areas, and the facility perimeter to help deter unauthorized access and identify security‑related concerns.

• Thur: 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM
• Fri: 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM
• Sat: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
• Sun: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM

What You'll Do:
