Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a full-time security professional in Concord, NC, to provide customer service and enforce site security procedures. The role includes monitoring entry points, screening visitors, and responding to alarms and incidents.

You will patrol interior and exterior areas, with shifts including early mornings and late nights. High school diploma required; CPR preferred; background check and drug screen are required by law. 18+ for unarmed roles, 21+ for armed roles.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel while carrying out site-specific security-related procedures and policies.
• Screen visitors, credentials, packages, and/or deliveries in accordance with access-control requirements for a technology, media, and telecommunications location.
• Monitor entry points and report access concerns, suspicious activity, and other security-related incidents to the appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following emergency response procedures when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned interior areas, exterior grounds, and perimeter areas to deter unauthorized activity; conditions may vary by location.

Pay Rate: $15.50 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Mon 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM
• Tue 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM
• Fri 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM
• Sat 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM

What You'll Do:

Minimum Requirements:

• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
