What You'll Do:
- Provide exceptional customer service to residents, guests, visitors, and vendors at a resort community by carrying out access-control procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
- Monitor entry and exit points, verify authorized access, manage visitor and vendor arrivals, and maintain accurate access-related records in accordance with site procedures.
- Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel as directed.
- Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, common areas, parking areas, and the surrounding property to help deter unauthorized activity and identify potential hazards or policy concerns.
- Communicate professionally with residents, guests, and staff while providing directions, reporting observations, and supporting a welcoming resort environment.
Minimum Requirements:
- At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- A guard card or license is preferred.
- Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- Access control and badge experience is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
