Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background investigation will be conducted per laws.
• All qualified applicants will be considered with criminal histories as allowed by law.
• Drug screen required as permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may be required by state or local laws.
• A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions only.

As an Access Control Officer at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will help manage entry points, verify credentials, monitor access activity, and provide professional customer service. Your visible presence and clear communication will help deter security‑related incidents while supporting a welcoming environment for employees and visitors. Position Type: Full Time

Pay Rate: $21.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Thur: 05:00 AM - 06:00 PM
• Fri: 05:00 AM - 06:00 PM
• Sat: 05:00 AM - 06:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, contractors, visitors, and delivery personnel by carrying out site‑specific access control procedures, policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Monitor and manage access points at an industrial construction location, verifying authorized entry credentials and maintaining visitor and contractor sign‑in records.
• Respond to access‑related incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, escalating concerns according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of designated entry points, work areas, perimeter locations, and parking areas to identify and report unusual conditions or unauthorized access.
• Communicate professionally with site personnel and Allied Universal leadership, documenting incidents, observations, and security‑related activities in accordance with established procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
