Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and delivery drivers by carrying out site-specific security procedures and access-control policies.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify authorized access, maintain logs, and direct personnel and vehicles per site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate contacts or emergency responders.
• Conduct regular patrols of the facility, loading areas, parking lots, and perimeter to report unusual activity or access-control concerns.
• Assist with receiving and shipping area access procedures, including checking credentials and site requirements for vendors, contractors, and delivery vehicles.

As a Security Officer Access Control in Waverly, NE, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. What You'll Do

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and delivery drivers by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, access-control policies, and emergency response activities at an industrial retail and distribution location.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify authorized access, maintain visitor and contractor logs, and direct personnel and vehicles according to site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate site contacts and/or emergency responders as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of the facility, loading areas, parking lots, and perimeter to help identify and report unusual activity, hazards, or access-control concerns.
• Assist with receiving and shipping area access procedures, including checking credentials and following site requirements for vendor, contractor, and delivery vehicle entry.

Minimum Requirements

• CPR certification is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Access control or badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
