As a Security Officer Full Time Access Database in Minooka, IL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. As an Allied Universal officer supporting a manufacturing and industrial location, you will manage access control, monitor entry points, conduct routine patrols, and help to deter security-related incidents. Position Type: Full Time

Pay Rate: $20.81 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Mon 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
• Tue 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
• Wed 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
• Sat 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
• Sun 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, access policies, and emergency response activities at an industrial location.
• Monitor access control systems, verify credentials, maintain visitor and contractor logs, and control entry to authorized areas in accordance with site procedures.
• Respond to access-related incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned areas, including entrances, loading docks, warehouse spaces, and the perimeter, to help identify unusual activity or access concerns.
• Document incidents, observations, and daily activities accurately and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.

Minimum Requirements:

• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
