Allied Universal, Gretna, NE, is hiring a Security Officer Full Time Entryway Security to manage site entry, verify credentials, control access, and maintain a visible deterrence at a logistics location. You will screen personnel, monitor approaches, and respond to alarms with professionalism and composure.

You will provide outstanding customer service to employees, visitors, drivers, and vendors, participate in incident response, conduct patrols, and uphold company policies.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check required by law.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may be required.
• Driver’s license required for driving roles only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, drivers, and vendors by carrying out site‑specific access‑control procedures, policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Monitor and control access points, verify credentials and visitor authorization, issue visitor passes, and maintain accurate access‑related records.
• Screen incoming and outgoing personnel, vehicles, and deliveries in accordance with site procedures, escalating discrepancies or unauthorized access attempts to appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, following established reporting and communication protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, loading areas, parking areas, and the business perimeter to deter unauthorized activity and identify security concerns.

As an Access Control Officer at a logistics and distribution location, you will help manage site entry, verify credentials, monitor access points, and maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents. Pay Rate: $20.00 / Hour

• Mon 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM
• Tue 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM
• Wed 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM
• Thur 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM
• Sun 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM

What You'll Do:

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
