Job summary

Allied Universal® is seeking a Security Officer for the Information Desk in Omaha, NE. You will greet visitors, verify identification, issue credentials, and support visitor processing at a logistics and distribution site.

Responsibilities include monitoring access, handling deliveries, and providing professional customer service to clients and staff. You will use computer systems to support operations, contribute to a secure, welcoming environment, and respond to incidents per site procedures.

Qualifications

• At least 6 months of security-related experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Background check is required by law.

• Armed roles require 21+; unarmed roles require 18+.
• Licensing requirements may apply by state/local laws.

As a Security Officer Full Time Information Desk in Omaha, NE, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As a Front Desk Officer at a dynamic logistics and distribution location, you will greet visitors, manage access, monitor entry activity, and provide professional customer service. You will use computer or tablet systems to support visitor processing, communicate clearly with site personnel, and help maintain a welcoming, secure environment. Pay Rate: $18.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Mon 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM
• Tue 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM
• Wed 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM
• Thur 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM
• Fri 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, drivers, and employees by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Serve as the front desk point of contact by greeting visitors, verifying identification and/or appointments, issuing visitor credentials, and maintaining accurate visitor and access records.
• Monitor access to the facility, receive and direct deliveries and communications, and report unauthorized access attempts or unusual activity to appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following site procedures and notifying Allied Universal leadership and/or site contacts as needed.
• Maintain a professional, welcoming presence at the front desk while helping to deter unauthorized entry and supporting orderly operations.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 6 months of security-related experience is required.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
