Job summary

Bally's Corporation in Chicago seeks a Security Officer to maintain a safe, entertaining casino environment. You will protect guests and assets, handle incident reports, and ensure compliance with policies and regulatory requirements.

Ideal candidates have a High School diploma, customer service strengths, and the ability to obtain an IGB Level 2 license. This is an on-site role with a focus on safety and integrity.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Foster an environment that embodies Bally's Born to Entertain philosophy by creating a fun-filled, entertaining atmosphere
• Enthusiastically promote Bally's customer-centric culture of offering superior guest service and actively building long-lasting guest relations
• Oversee the physical security of the casino and company assets
• Responsible for the physical safety of guests, employees, and company assets
• Initiate and prepare Security Incident Reports
• Escort chips, cash, and table game drops per company procedures and regulatory requirements
• Report any criminal or suspicious activity without hesitation
• Ensure the department adheres to all regulatory, departmental, and Company policies and procedures
• Communicate any violations of Company policies and procedures as well as any regulatory requirements
• Perform duties and responsibilities associated with the IGB Statewide Voluntary Self-Exclusion Program
• Safeguard the overall integrity of gaming
• Perform other duties as assigned

Compensation

• Target salary: $22.50/hr

Physical Demands & Work Environment

• Frequently required to walk, run, kneel, stretch, push, twist, bend, and lift.
• Requires visual acuity to perform close-up activities and peripheral oversight
• Requires manual dexterity to conduct repairs on slot machines
• The work environment contains bright lights, loud noise, and stressful situations.
