Job summary

Doyle Security Services, Inc. is seeking a security officer to observe and report activities at a client site, perform periodic patrols, and enforce site regulations. The role requires standing for the majority of the workday and a valid NJ SORA license.

Schedule is Monday to Friday, 1 PM to 9 PM, with pay up to USD 17.50 per hour. Benefits include medical, vision, dental, 401K, PTO, life insurance, and referral bonuses.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Valid NJ SORA License.
• Must be able to understand the English language and communicate effectively in both the verbal and written form.
• Must be physically able to perform the tasks required by the position.

Responsibilities

• Reporting irregularities; informing violators of policy and procedures.
• Securing premises and personnel by patrolling property; monitoring surveillance equipment; inspecting buildings, equipment, and access points; permitting entry.
• Completes reports by recording observations, information, occurrences, and surveillance activities; interviewing witnesses; obtaining signatures.
• Tasks assigned by supervisor or manager.

Overview

Observes and reports activities and incidents at an assigned client site, providing for the security and safety of client property and personnel. Makes periodic tours to check for irregularities. Preserves order and may act to enforce regulations and directives for the site pertaining to personnel, visitors, and premises. Work requires the ability to stand for the majority of workday.
