Job summary

Doyle Security Services is seeking a part-time security officer to observe and report activities at a client site, performing regular patrols to protect property and personnel. The role requires standing for long periods, weekend shifts, and effective communication in English.

A NJ SORA license and a high school diploma are required, with benefits including medical, vision, dental, and 401K. Applicants must be able to work Saturdays and Sundays from 1500 to 2300 and maintain professional conduct

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Valid NJ SORA License required.
• Must understand and communicate effectively in English (spoken and written).
• Must be physically capable of performing the tasks.

Responsibilities

• Observe and report activities at the client site to ensure security and safety of property and personnel.
• Patrol premises, secure entrances, monitor surveillance, and inspect equipment and access points.
• Complete incident reports with observations, interviews, and signatures.
• Perform tasks assigned by supervisor or manager.

Overview

Observes and reports activities and incidents at an assigned client site, providing for the security and safety of client property and personnel. Makes periodic tours to check for irregularities. Preserves order and may act to enforce regulations and directives for the site pertaining to personnel, visitors, and premises. Work requires the ability to stand for the majority of workday.

Schedule

Saturday and Sunday 1500-2300

Pay Range

Up to USD $19.50/Hr.

Responsibilities

• Reporting irregularities; informing violators of policy and procedures.
• Securing premises and personnel by patrolling property; monitoring surveillance equipment; inspecting buildings, equipment, and access points; permitting entry.
• Completes reports by recording observations, information, occurrences, and surveillance activities; interviewing witnesses; obtaining signatures.
• Tasks assigned by supervisor or manager.

Qualifications

• At least 18 years of age
• High school diploma / GED required
• Valid NJ SORA License
• Must be able to understand the English language and communicate effectively in both the verbal and written form
• Must be physically able to perform the tasks required by the position
