Job summary

Doyle Security Services, Inc. is seeking a security officer to observe and report activities at an assigned client site, ensuring the safety of people and property. The role requires standing for most of the workday and may involve early morning shifts at a client location in New Jersey.

Responsibilities include patrolling, documenting incidents, and responding to security events. Must hold valid NJ SORA license, HS diploma or GED, and be able to communicate effectively in English.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Valid NJ SORA license.
• Must understand English and communicate effectively in both spoken and written form.
• Must be physically able to perform the tasks required by the position.

Responsibilities

• Observes and reports activities and incidents at an assigned client site, ensuring security and safety of property and personnel.
• Makes periodic patrols to check for irregularities and enforces site regulations.
• Secures premises by patrolling, monitoring surveillance equipment, inspecting access points, and controlling entry.
• Completes reports by recording observations and interviewing witnesses.

Overview

Observes and reports activities and incidents at an assigned client site, providing for the security and safety of client property and personnel. Makes periodic tours to check for irregularities. Preserves order and may act to enforce regulations and directives for the site pertaining to personnel, visitors, and premises. Work requires the ability to stand for the majority of workday.

Schedule

Thursday and Friday 6:45-4:15am

Pay Range

Starting from USD $19.00/Hr.

Responsibilities

• Reporting irregularities; informing violators of policy and procedures.
• Securing premises and personnel by patrolling property; monitoring surveillance equipment; inspecting buildings, equipment, and access points; permitting entry.
• Completes reports by recording observations, information, occurrences, and surveillance activities; interviewing witnesses; obtaining signatures.
• Tasks assigned by supervisor or manager.

Qualifications

• At least 18 years of age
• High school diploma / GED required
• Valid NJ SORA License
• Must be able to understand the English language and communicate effectively in both the verbal and written form
• Must be physically able to perform the tasks required by the position
