Job summary

Doyle Security Services is seeking a dependable Security Officer for a client-site role in Newfield, NJ. The position runs Monday to Friday from 1 PM to 9 PM, with pay up to $17.50 per hour. You will observe and report activities, secure premises, and support the safety of people and property.

Requires a NJ SORA license and ability to communicate in English. Responsibilities include patrolling, recording observations, interviewing witnesses, and completing incident reports.

Qualifications

• Minimum age 18 and a high school diploma or GED.
• Must hold a valid NJ SORA license.
• Ability to stand for the majority of the workday.

Overview

Observes and reports activities and incidents at an assigned client site, providing for the security and safety of client property and personnel. Makes periodic tours to check for irregularities. Schedule

Monday to Friday 1PM to 9PM

Pay Range

Up to USD $17.50/Hr.

Responsibilities

• Reporting irregularities; informing violators of policy and procedures.
• Securing premises and personnel by patrolling property; monitoring surveillance equipment; inspecting buildings, equipment, and access points; permitting entry.
• Completes reports by recording observations, information, occurrences, and surveillance activities; interviewing witnesses; obtaining signatures.
• Tasks assigned by supervisor or manager.

Qualifications

• At least 18 years of age
• High school diploma / GED required
• Valid NJ SORA License
• Must be able to understand the English language and communicate effectively in both the verbal and written form
• Must be physically able to perform the tasks required by the position
