Job summary

Doyle Security Services, Inc. is seeking a security guard for weekend coverage in Newtown, NJ. You will observe and report activities at client sites, patrol premises and enforce site regulations to protect people and property.

Position requires standing most of the workday, valid NJ SORA license, and ability to communicate effectively in English. Schedule: Saturdays 7am-3pm, with competitive pay and benefits offered.

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years or older as required by policy.
• High school diploma or GED is required.
• NJ SORA license is required and must be valid.
• Must understand and communicate in English clearly.

Responsibilities

• Report irregularities and inform violators of policy and procedures.
• Secure premises by patrolling, monitor surveillance equipment, inspect access points.
• Complete reports by recording observations and interviewing witnesses.
• Perform tasks assigned by supervisor or manager.

Overview

Observes and reports activities and incidents at an assigned client site, providing for the security and safety of client property and personnel. Makes periodic tours to check for irregularities. Preserves order and may act to enforce regulations and directives for the site pertaining to personnel, visitors, and premises. Work requires the ability to stand for the majority of workday.

Schedule

Saturdays 7am-3pm

Pay Range

USD $19.00 - USD $19.00 /Hr.

Responsibilities

• Reporting irregularities; informing violators of policy and procedures.
• Securing premises and personnel by patrolling property; monitoring surveillance equipment; inspecting buildings, equipment, and access points; permitting entry.
• Completes reports by recording observations, information, occurrences, and surveillance activities; interviewing witnesses; obtaining signatures.
• Tasks assigned by supervisor or manager.

Qualifications

• At least 21 years of age
• High school diploma / GED required
• Valid NJ SORA License
• Must be able to understand the English language and communicate effectively in both the verbal and written form
• Must be physically able to perform the tasks required by the position
