Job summary

Doyle Security Services is seeking a security officer to observe and report on client-site activities, patrol premises, and enforce safety procedures. The role requires standing for long periods and valid NJ SORA license.

Schedule includes Sunday and Monday nights, with pay up to $19 per hour. Training and benefits are provided, and the position emphasizes safety, reliability, and clear communication in English.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.

• NJ SORA License required.
• Must communicate effectively in English (verbal and written).
• Must be physically able to stand for long periods.

Responsibilities

• Report irregularities and inform violators of policy and procedures.
• Secure premises and personnel by patrolling property, monitoring surveillance equipment, inspecting access points.
• Complete reports by recording observations, occurrences, and surveillance activities; interview witnesses; obtain signatures.
• Perform tasks assigned by supervisor or manager.

Overview

Observes and reports activities and incidents at an assigned client site, providing for the security and safety of client property and personnel. Makes periodic tours to check for irregularities. Preserves order and may act to enforce regulations and directives for the site pertaining to personnel, visitors, and premises. Work requires the ability to stand for the majority of workday.

Schedule

Sunday & Monday 1500/2300

Pay Range

Up to USD $19.00/Hr.

Responsibilities

• Reporting irregularities; informing violators of policy and procedures.
• Securing premises and personnel by patrolling property; monitoring surveillance equipment; inspecting buildings, equipment, and access points; permitting entry.
• Completes reports by recording observations, information, occurrences, and surveillance activities; interviewing witnesses; obtaining signatures.
• Tasks assigned by supervisor or manager.

Qualifications

• At least 18 years of age
• High school diploma / GED required
• Valid NJ SORA License
• Must be able to understand the English language and communicate effectively in both the verbal and written form
• Must be physically able to perform the tasks required by the position
