Job summary

Doyle Security Services, Inc. is seeking a vigilant Security Officer to observe and report on client sites, conduct routine patrols, and help protect people and property. The role requires the ability to stand for long periods and to follow site regulations.

Shifts run Sunday and Monday 3:00 PM–11:00 PM; pay is up to $19.00 per hour. Candidates must have a High School diploma or GED, NJ SORA license, and strong English communication skills.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age.
• High school diploma / GED required.
• Valid NJ SORA License required.
• Must be able to understand and communicate effectively in English.
• Must be physically able to perform duties as described.

Responsibilities

• Observes and reports activities and incidents at the client site.
• Makes periodic tours to check for irregularities and enforce regulations.
• Completes reports by recording observations and interviewing witnesses.
• Tasks assigned by supervisor or manager.

Overview

Observes and reports activities and incidents at an assigned client site, providing for the security and safety of client property and personnel. Makes periodic tours to check for irregularities. Preserves order and may act to enforce regulations and directives for the site pertaining to personnel, visitors, and premises. Work requires the ability to stand for the majority of workday.

Schedule

Sunday & Monday 1500/2300

Pay Range

Up to USD $19.00/Hr.

Responsibilities

• Reporting irregularities; informing violators of policy and procedures.
• Securing premises and personnel by patrolling property; monitoring surveillance equipment; inspecting buildings, equipment, and access points; permitting entry.
• Completes reports by recording observations, information, occurrences, and surveillance activities; interviewing witnesses; obtaining signatures.
• Tasks assigned by supervisor or manager.

Qualifications

• At least 18 years of age
• High school diploma / GED required
• Valid NJ SORA License
• Must be able to understand the English language and communicate effectively in both the verbal and written form
• Must be physically able to perform the tasks required by the position
