Job summary

Doyle Security Services, Inc. is seeking a vigilant security officer to monitor assigned client sites in Fort Lee, NJ. You will observe and report incidents, conduct routine patrols, and enforce site regulations to protect people and property.

The role requires standing for extended periods, a valid NJ SORA license, and the ability to communicate clearly in English. The schedule is Monday to Friday, 2300–0700, with benefits including medical, vision, dental, and PTO.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Valid NJ SORA license required.
• Ability to understand and communicate in English (verbal and written).
• Physically able to perform duties.

Responsibilities

• Observe and report activities and incidents at an assigned client site.
• Secure premises and personnel by patrolling property and monitoring access points.
• Complete reports by recording observations and interviewing witnesses.
• Perform tasks assigned by supervisor or manager.

Overview

Observes and reports activities and incidents at an assigned client site, providing for the security and safety of client property and personnel. Makes periodic tours to check for irregularities. Preserves order and may act to enforce regulations and directives for the site pertaining to personnel, visitors, and premises. Work requires the ability to stand for the majority of workday.

Schedule

Monday to Friday 2300/0700

Pay Range

Up to USD $19.00/Hr.

Responsibilities

• Reporting irregularities; informing violators of policy and procedures.
• Securing premises and personnel by patrolling property; monitoring surveillance equipment; inspecting buildings, equipment, and access points; permitting entry.
• Completes reports by recording observations, information, occurrences, and surveillance activities; interviewing witnesses; obtaining signatures.
• Tasks assigned by supervisor or manager.

Qualifications

• At least 18 years of age
• High school diploma / GED required
• Valid NJ SORA License
• Must be able to understand the English language and communicate effectively in both the verbal and written form
• Must be physically able to perform the tasks required by the position
